Mickey and nc1 make a lot more sense on this than Sharpstick.
The M sportsbook is run by Cantor Gaming, a division of Cantor Fitsgerald Investment. They are the most innovative and best run sportsbook company in Las Vegas. THey created, in England, the perfect technology for ingame betting for all sports...from baseball and football to golf. They now have their technology in The Pallazzo and The Venetian, are going to be running the sportsbook in the revamped Tropicana, and will be running the sportsbook in the new Cosmopolitan Casino, next to The Bellagio.
If you like ACTION, then this is the way to go.
As for The M.....The steakhouse is decent, the italian restaurant is excellent, and the buffet is one of the best in all of Vegas....free wine and beer with buffet (all you can drink) and great sushi...

Thanks to all for the info on The M. I usually only bet about $1,000 on my trips to Vegas. I like the idea of free drinks and I've heard good things about their buffet. I've been to a couple of sportsbooks that treat drink coupons like gold bars.

Will give you one negative....If you are looking for "night action"...the bars/scene (what there is of it) have some of the ugliest women in all of Henderson....

I'm sorry that it has taken me some time to give an update on my recent stay in Vegas. Thank you again to all the people who gave their opinioion on the M. I did go to the M Sportsbook and enjoyed my experience for the most part. The ONLY bad part was a horse bettor jumping the line and costing me to have 3 and 2 team winning parlay tickets insted of 4 and 3 team winning parlay tickets. I did enjoy the new, clean sprtsbook surroundings. I was informed that not all games are available for in-game betting and you need to have an approved account by them. Just about all my baseball bets won there. I cleared about $1,000. It's nice to know that your trip is basically paid for on just your first few bets. I did try the buffet on a Sunday. My opinion is that the Sunday Seafood buffet is a bit overpriced. The quality was lacking just a bit. I think if you go there on a different day, then you're getting good value. I prefer the Bellagio's buffet for their quality of food. I like the M and its sportsbook. I'd have no problem going back. I'd rate the place about an 8.5 out of 10. As far as the looks of the servers...I'm married.
