FOUR DAYS IN VEGAS...hotel question

If you're gunna spend any time in the room at all, then mandalay for sure. If not, then who cares and save some money. This seems like it's a question pretty specific to your plans and expectations for the trip.

Excal and Strat are kinda crapholes IMO, but Excal does have the best location of the hotels you mention above. When I'm looking for a good value, I seem to always be considering Monte Carlo. More than Excal, and always less than mandalay. You'll get what you pay for.

With the exception of March Madness....I have not found a Mon-Thur night stay at NY-NY for more than $300 for 4 nights (usually less)....Weekends, pretty much everywhere, will..or course...be more.....but if $$$ is even a little concern...Mon-Thur in Vegas is a BARGAIN...compared to almost everywhere else...

...and there are plenty of sports to bet on during the week....plus, you can always bet on a weekend game and send your ticket in to be cashed by mail....

BUT, $200+ per night at NY-NY?.....

...there you go again, capper....

I've stayed @ the Bellagio, Ceasars and the Pink Flamingo.  the Flamingo is by far the most economical and ironically my favorite casino to gamble in.

Their sports book kinda sux (old tube Tvs) but hey it still pays all the same

Stay at Harrah's. Right in the center of the strip, inexpensive, and I was impressed with my room. Very clean and spacious. No resort fees either. They also have a pool which isn't anything to brag about but it's there.

Also, right next door is an outdoor bar where all the hookers hang out late at night
