All books do. If they don't, I would be shocked.
If you bet at least something, they always give you a ticket.
If they do charge but you bet a decent amount, just tell them and they will give you the drink tickets.
Almost everyone drinks at the books, so if they cut back people will go somewhere else.

2gtt.....not entirely true.
Even within the large MGM Resorts company, each book can operate differently...BECAUSE THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE DIRECTOR FOR EACH HOTEL IS DIFFERENT!!!.
While it might seem that the book is setting the rules (and they do), it is in response to their relationship with the F&B Director and how much they are charged for "free drinks"....THe drinks come out of the sportsbook budget and not the hotel's.
More and more: The standard sports bet is $100 for a drink ticket and with a maximum of 4 drink tickets in any 24-hour period.
Remember.....BET THE PONIES AND YOU DRINK FOR FREE....YOU CAN MAKE $20 LAST A LOT LONGER WITH $2 BETS THAN YOU CAN BETTING SPORTS. Just tip the waitress a buck for each beer/drink and you can get a nice buzz while also watching your sports...Most books have the tv's adjacent to each other, not too tough to have a racing form, bet the ponies, drink, and watch the games that you bet on earlier. The waitress doesn't care if you bet to win or to show...just give her a buck...easy.

I think the policy is hilarious. If a guy drops 100k on a game hes getting 2 drink tickets?!
I'm not disputing it, just find it bizzare.

If they were comping Dom at Aria I wouldnt step foot in their book. If you want to head to a real book step inside the Bellagio or any of the Cantor ran sportsbooks.

rebel....
If a guy betting 100 dimes on a game wants a watered-down drink using "well lliquor" from the service bar...then THAT is really hilarious....
This topic....free drinks and sports betting....is getting more useless every time that it comes up....How come I never read somthing like..."free drinks with lap dances"....this connection between sports betting and cheap booze is trash.
...and to use the "Cantor analogy".....Their CEO was quoted as saying..."the day of the 25,000 square foot sportsbook is over"....Meaning that betting and spending the day/evening in a sportsbook drinking and watching the games is the past....The future is what Cantor is developing, both with their technology as well as their creativity concerning betting options.....

Thinker....
I would be interested in knowing who you spoke to......The F&B Director at Aria would not give you that number....I would also be interested in what level of Mlife players card you hold....
On one end, you start a thread asking about free drinks and you finish the thread quoting a senior executive.....Not meaning to doubt your veracity here; but would love to have more info about your conversation if you are going to "state facts" representing Aria....You have 17 posts in a little under 5 years on this website and, forgive me, but I have to be somewhat sceptical about what you are saying.

I usually tip the guy who takes my bet a five or a ten on my first bet and from that point on I get a drink ticket with every wager no matter the size.
with what drinks now cost at Wynn etc, well worth it.
