The comp situation is weird again. I was getting comped at the Palazzo (just room) and now those offers have dried up again. I did pretty good on the last trip but definitely played enough to get the room from my past experience.
My wifey used to play the machines but took the trip off last time and drank more. She only wagers 1/20th of what I do. We split the same players card. I do not think she matters much.
Any ideas? Has the Palazzo changed their comp policy? The place was not THAT BUSY it seemed.

I'm in the same situation with the Venecian/Palazzo..There is a thread here down the line, but supposedly the new guy in charge has 86'd the comped rooms unless you're a big player.More focus on getting income from the rooms themselves.
Sucks as I was comped (And gave them sufficient action) past couple Septembers..And the rooms are really a step above the Rio,my usual stay.
Billoch, I'm still getting 2 nights comped for most Harrahs/Caesars props, maybe you let 6 months go by w/o playing your card?
I do one or two AC trips and one Vegas trip a year and can count on at least 2 nights at either prop.
I'd call and ask for a host if you were getting that many nights and now down to none does'nt not sound right.

This happened like a year ago and I did not receive any offers for about 6 months. Then they sent me the best offer ever with food, show and room.
Hopefully that happens again.
I do not see in this envioronment with this economy that they are making a good decision.
I booked my latest hotel on Priceline and got it for 60/night taxes and everything (Friday-Saturday). It is the Renaissance which is 4 star property and has no casino. They do have a nice steakhouse at Envy, it is solid and always dead. I am torn if I will give the Palazzo my play. I feel like I should not as giving them my play and not getting comped seems to be self defeating. I will be close to the Hilton but it is a little run down for me or the Wynn. I have played fairly large at the Wynn and they could seem to care less. Black there seems to be kind of boring to them. I do not know what it takes to get a comp there but I know, I am not close. I would think Palazzo/Wynn comps would be close but that has not been my experience.
I have been comped in the past liberally at the Harrahs properties and this may be a good answer. Paris is nice and I have yet to stay at PH. I do not know why but I have always like good ol Harrahs too. It usually is rocking with a good vibe.
Thanks guys

Crash- I don't deal too much with comps/deals but all over this forum there are people stating that its a brave new world. Maybe that"best offer ever with food/show/room" was a last ploy to prime your pump. Maybe they hope they can Modify Behavior that you'll keep coming back before they'll have to reward you again. All I do know is that things are tighter then before. gl

I read an article within the last couple months that said the owner of Venetian decided to get rid of ALL comps except for the "whales". they werent making enough or any profit from the smaller players that were being comped. M life is great though, I have comps at every single mgm property including Aria, Bellagio and Mirage and i am sure compared to their standards I am a pretty small player

Thanks for the heads up. I like the new complex and this may be worth a try. Good enough rooms. I think I may sign up and throw them some action and see what sticks.
Thanks again

Caesars reward comps it seems like you have to win for your next offers to get better or stay. When i lose my next trip comps are shit, when i win thats when rooms get bigger and more things are free.
Mlife comps- i dont really gamble at MGM properties too much but they seem to always give me a shitload of points to pay for my food.
Stations casino comps they are awesome, everything is free. too bad they're too far from the strip

I have a total rewards membership, last Memorial day wkend I got comped fri-tues @ the rio...this year no hotel would comp me...just discounted prices. I've noticed they've been sending me less and less free things and rooms. Every hotel has different ways to earn points I guess.
