Can one get a good deal on a room for the entire football season?

Say you wanted to go out there for 3-4 months. Whats the bext price one can get for a room for something like that? EVerytime I look seems ridicoulsly priced.

3-4 months, that just sounds disgusting for a hotel room. ?I have stayed 14 days before, but I will change hotels after 7 days. ?

go on craigslist and look for somebody who is renting a room or something

I have the same question. Why restrict the search in vegas. My question is which city in Nevada has the lowest rates?

There are several options near/off the Strip....Siegel Suites is probably the largest operation out here for monthly rooms...free breakfast, internet connection, etc. One on Tropicana is close to the Strip. Budget Suites is further South on Las Vegas Blvd...5 minute drive. They all have weekly/monthly rates.

go downtown my friend - lots of place where you could probably go under 400 for a week,,rinse off on the way out tho--hehe

i know the mgm has a tower that is apartment style and has weekly rates. its fully furnished so you dont have to buy any furniture, but i have no idea how much it costs. but if your looking at 500+ a month wouldnt it be more worth it to just fly out every wednesday and make our bets then come back home, especially if you live on the west coast or midwest.

VegasGourmet are you talking about the Tropicana itself. I myself am thinking about living in Vegas during football season and curious. Do you know how much Tropicana cost weekly/monthly?

No Bimmer...I meant "Tropicana" the avenue....on the corner of Trop and the Strip is The Tropicana, Excalibur, MGM Grand and NY/NY....This Siegel Suites advertises furnished rooms with free breakfast for $229 per week...it's near The Orleans and can be walked to/from the Strip.

If you have a car, there are other options 5-10 minutes down Las Vegas Blvd South from Mandalay Bay....Emerald Suites is another...

The Siegel Suites on the other side of the strip by Terrible's Casino is $185 a week.

There is also a place right outside of the Stratosphere directly in front of the parking garage entrance that is $400 a month.

You could also try UNLV housing to see if any stundents, grad or undergrad are looking for roommates for the sesemter. I did this when I stay out on the east coast, stayed in a great apartment, just rented a room and had own bathroom and used the kitchen. Just a thought.

If I were single, I'd be all over shit like this. Especially during the World Series of Poker (like now).

However, I am not. And the old lady will NOT have a stranger living in the house.

I would not stay at the Siegle Suites if they paid me 185.00 a week. Emerald Suites is much better for 1000 a month for a one bedroom apt. Or The Meridian for like 1300 to 1400 a month which is also a furnished apt.

Mentioning places that are twice as much is helping others how exactly?

Maybe it depends on the location, but Siegle Suites is a decent place, they have free internet, laundry on site, and other things that should fulfill a renters needs. Now, if the person is looking for trouble, they most likely are going to find it at one of the location or any place they rent from.

Especially if the person is trying to increase their bankroll with less bills and most likely the person wanting to come to Vegas just for the football season already has some bills that are due back home. (Car payment, insurance, cell phone, etc)

189.00 times 4 plus 12% room tax = 850

You do not have to pay room tax when you pay for 30 days at either the Meridan or Emerald.

ALL these places are outragous, I'm not going to mention the place I stay @ 500 a month with maid,cable, and breakfest. I've stayed at that place across from the Stratosphere, just check those motels below Sahara on LVB. and any number will give you monthly @ $400-600 month.
