what's the best book in vegas for march madness and why?

Believe it our not I like Bill's (The former Barbary Coast). It is easy to get your bets down and they have some personality behind the counter. Now if you are looking for comfortable chairs, huge TV's and hot cocktail waitresses this is not for you. If you like to get your bets down and play some black jack or 3-Card WHILE watching the games this is the place for you.

I for one don't like to sit in a book for hours on end watching the games. I like to get my bets down, watch some games and play the tables. At Bill's I can do all at the same time.

Another small place I like is the Imperial Palace. No table games to play as you watch the games but hot cocktail waitresses that bring you Corona's or your beer of choice just for sitting and watching the games.

The group I go to Vegas with likes these smaller places because it's easy to roam around but still stay in touch. I remember one time at Bill's playing at a 3-card table with all strangers and seeing a buzzer beater on the TV. It was a $300.00 winning ticket for me. I had no one to high five but then I glanced to my right 3 tables down and there were 2 of my buddies with their hands held high giving me prop's.

I spent last year's march madness at the Bellagio and the year before at the Wynn. Bellagio was better only because the service was better and they don't ask for drink tickets. Get there early and tip them well and they will remember you. I can't wait to go there again this year!
