Has anyone been there yet? Anyone with info on the hotel, casino, sportsbook? How does this place rate???

stayed there a couple months after it opened. it is very very nice with everything being state of the art especially the rooms. here are my thoughts..

aria is more like a complex than a hotel. it is huge so be prepared to walk a lot, especially if you are trying to leave because they try and keep you on the property by making you weave all over the place

the casino/poker room are what you would expect at a upscale place. nothing real special about. plenty of options/games/tables

the sportsbook i thought was below average. they designed it to be more of a lounge like area than a sportsbook. they have 3 huge screens and they smaller plasmas scatter throughout the place. like i said the seating is more lounge like so you will have to move some chairs around if you want to face a game you want to watch

Here is very important tip. I don't know if it was just our room but since everything in the room is controlled by one remote be careful when you go to turn everything off at night. If you hit the power button on the remote, everything turns off, including the A/C. I woke up sweating one night not knowing what was going on. So if you do stay there turn things off one by one

overall, i probably wouldn't stay there again because it is expensive and i would rather be centrally located at ballys, bellagio, or caesars. hopefully that helps. any other questions let me know

i'm 19 so i just walked around the strip and around the citycenter but,

CASINO IS HUUGE!!! POKER ROOM IS $ICK!!!

Happy to offer advice/suggestions.....

Have you ever been to Vegas before? If so, where did you stay and where did you do the majority of your gambling (table games or sportsbook?)

Also, what seems to be your concerns about Aria? THere are multiple threads in this forum on Aria (if you just scroll through); if they are not helping you with info, I would be happy to try and fill in whatever blanks you have on this.

the sportsbook/casino was/is how it is in Vegas...

its just the sportsbook is not as good as others in Vegas

Lemongrass was PACKED! alotta people were eating there even at 2pm..

alotta ppl walking around because of the high end stores etc...

also they have Louis Vuitton Eifel Tower made outta suitcases!

Like to spend most of my time in the sportsbook and the blackjack tables. Stayed before at mirage.

Gamble....

Why not come closer to Tropicana Ave this time.....you can still get the MGM lines/juice; but also now Cantor Gaming is running The Tropicana, The Cosmopolitan, and The Hard Rock.....

The free tram connects Mandalay Bay to Luxor to Excalibur...and the other free tram connects Monte Carlo to Aria to Bellagio....

the sportsbook was pretty crowded most nights I was there. just get there half hour before the games start and you will be fine especially if there is a big event going on. I was there during the blackhawks/flyers series and it was insane but we had great time. there is noting like watching a game at a packed sportsbook where every play is followed by cheers and boos from everybody

The newest is The Cosmopolitan.....in between Aria and The Bellagio..not owned by MGM Resorts and sportsbook run by Cantor Gaming....not a very big book; but Cantor is very solid.

The Cosmopolitan was originally built (and is still not completely finished) as all condos....bad economy, original builder/owner went under, was taken over by Deutsche Bank...all rooms are suites with kitchens, patios, etc....

If you were looking into Aria (seeking new and quality), Cosmopolitan..which is a fraction the size of Aria...might be a neat choice....
