Oh and you also get private poker lessons and get to play a few hands with Phil Ivey
In all seriousness....because I do love (and understand) this town....
this is the reason why no other city in this country will EVER replace Las Vegas.
And, as I have said many times in this forum: This city gives everyone...at whatever level they can afford...something that no other destination will ever be able to give. The ability to "be someone else" and experience things..be it gambling, food, "sin", whatever...will never be duplicated anywhere else....
From downtown ("glitter gulch") to the Strip..to even off the Strip (food and casinos)....there is everything that anyone could want ...and, once again, AT WHATEVER LEVEL THAT THEY CAN AFFORD!!!....
Miles and miles of just one thing.....a town who's main purpose of existence is to make people happy. Just another response to those that think this town will "dry up" when AC or the Internet become greater competitors....
Has the economy affected us? Sure. Has it affected you at home or at work also? Sure. But, rest assured, Vegas will always be unique and will never be duplicated.....Whether you're staying at the Motel 6 next to Hooters or in the penthouse suites at The Wynn...it really doesn't matter.
Vegas will always be "all things to all people."
End of my "soapbox monologue"...please return to your normal lives now....

gamble04...
When you get as old as me, you know a lot of "old sayings"...
And there is one that fits your post:
"If you have to ask what the price is, then you can't afford it"
What that means is the person who would spend 500dimes on this package does not care and does not quantify the "worth"....It could have a "real worth" of $147,000 or maybe $756, 201, it really doesn't matter...not to the person capable of spending this kind of money.
Were it to matter at all, in fact the larger the number, the more "value" the buyer would believe the package to have. A Rolls Royce Silver Cloud can get you from point A to point B just as a Honda 2-door can get you from point A to point B....THe difference is HOW you get from point A to point B...and that is how "value" is perceived.

before everyone goes crazy and calls b/s im not the invited guest. I have a very good friend who's best friend is one of the true big players/ whales in vegas that I have tagged along with to the mansions.
fly out of lax out of a private terminal( people from la its off the 105 fwy, you drive thru the fed ex excess truck parking to a private terminal) been on mgm jet once and on my friends private jet twice.
once on the ground we have been picked up right on the tarmac(sp) in a black phantom rr. you would never guess how you get to the mansions, anyone that knows the mgm you enter off the strip by the big parking structure, drive past the structure turn left towards the strip down a service alley and before you reach the strip make another left down another alley and on your left are the gates into the mansions ( the picture you see on the link I believe have the gates open right before you enter)
