APPL shares-17 Change+ 8.17%
BP shares 118 Change +6.65
C shares 735 change+12.8%
EFA shares 42 change +3.58%
KO shares 39 change +14.36%
MSFT shares 170 change +8.3%
PBR shares 70 change -11.9%
PG shares 42 change +5.5%
SIRI shares 1340 change -1.4%
SLV shares 60 change -0.5 %
VZ shares 99 change +14.8%
XOM shares 99 change +9.4%

Overall + 6.8%

dividends are reinvested.

i am looking for a small talk to hear some opinions where i should load more. if i should diversify more? what should i drop.
am i heading in the right direction?
i also have to say that i add about 350$ each week to SLV right now. (sharebuilder.com) should i be getting into something else something different?
opinions/suggestions would be very helpful

I'm assuming your goal is growth but your invested for income. You basically have a Dogs of the Dow portfolio w/ a few specs in SLV, C, and Siri.

Not that there is anything wrong w/ your stocks I think dividend stocks will be good but would look for higher yields. Perhaps:

SNH,

WWE,

PGN,

LLY,

PMI,

MO

For specs C and SIRI have too big of floats to go any where IMHO. I'd take a look at what some other posters have mentioned w/ QMM and RBY for flyers or even FCEL, HTM, IDIX, ANDS, LXRX.

alsnow some very good advice love all your bottom picks...solid!!! only concern is ANDS wouldn't go there, but again all other ROCK SOLID

Trading in Toronto

PNP Currently 3.60 (in at 2.70; stop set at 3.10) My best pick

HAT 3.06 (on venture exchange) Just entered at 2.98 stop at 2.75

CLM 12.81 (in at 12.00; stop at 12.25)

CFW 34.50 (in at 30.25; stop at 32.00)

Pairs trade (Long BNS, short RY) - Banks starting to break down other than BNS

Call options on UUU (5.00)

Put options on RY (60.00)

Normally have 10-12 trades on but been stopped out of a few lately.

Really like Citigroup.

Also recommend taking a look at EMC and HD. (Emc and Home Depot).

USU (Usec) is a sleeper as well.

I'm with nc1capper.... blue chips are the way to go, especially those with high yields in this kind of economy.

I expect small, mid-caps to continue to lag the overall market . Many of the large, mega caps are getting lots of their revenue from overseas sales, not U.S..

Two Mutual Funds and a junk bond account through Vanguard.

Bought Citigroup about a month ago.

Let's hope 2011 brings us all great profits.

who carries your portfolio? one place or several? i have my work 401K but would like to venture out and occasionaly make stock purchases 500-1000 dollars a few times a year

Overall up to +11.79 % in 15 days.

Should i be thinking of cutting some profit out of my stocks or just let it sit get dividends and forget them for few months/years?

My question is how does one investor make most out of his money?
By taking profit time to time or letting a stock sit for years and forget about it?
I am unsure if i should for example sell some when its +20% or think/hope it will go to 40%
on the other hand when stock goes down 10-15% should i cut my loses and sell asap? or wait for it to rebound.

I know where is no right answer but whats the "book" way to do it?

forgot to mention that i sold PBR shares 70 change at a loss to claim on taxes.
