Current NBA Portfolio - Futures (all @ B365)
Bickerstaff Coach of year +600...25u to win 150u
Malone Coach of year +3300...3u to win 99u
Gilgeous Alexander Most improved player +3300...3u to win 99u (odds have come down since placing this wager)
Jamal Murray Most improved player +10000...2u to win 200u
Anunoby Best defensive player +3300...3u to win 99u
Donovan Mitchell MVP +2500...4u to win 100u
Pascal Siakam MVP +3000...1.5u to win 45u
Denver to make playoffs Yes -650...487.5u to win 75u...largest single wager amount of my sports betting life...BOL to me along with anyone else putting the hammer down on this one
Cleveland to make playoffs Yes -340...170u to win 50u
Toronto to make playoffs Yes -340...170u to win 50u
Lakers to make playoffs No -160...40u to win 25u
Toronto to win Atlantic Division +500...10u to win 50u
Denver to win Northwest Division -140...35u to win 25u
Denver to win Title +1600...3u to win 48u
Cleveland to win Title +2000...2.5u to win 50u
Denver to win Conference +900...5u to win 45u
Cleveland to win Conference +1200...4u to win 48u
My current position clearly backs Toronto, Cleveland and Denver...not the best overall markets for the NBA, but it has been proven over the past that small market teams loaded with talent, a deep bench and solid coaching can win it all or make it to the finals, proven by Toronto, Milwaukee, San Antonio, OKC and Phoenix.
I will forgo betting on nightly games or tracking pointspreads on a regular basis this season. From what I'm seeing thus far into the season, it's nearly impossible to know how any of these teams are going to come out and play in the 1st Q.
In my opinion, the NBA has rapidly evolved into an in-game betting league versus the traditional capping methods used to pick a side or total pregame. Thus, I shall sit on all these futures and follow along with the big picture in mind.
For those that know me, I will be taking a break from tennis capping until the red clay season starts in the spring of 2023
BOL to anyone who stumbles across this thread and chooses to wager similarly.

"Sports (Betting)" and "Investing" are incompatible. You are still "gambling," and betting on Futures is no substitute for that.
FWIW, I enjoy betting futures as well. With proper homework, it allows for a bet to last all season long. But at the end of the day, I still treat it as a gamble. Futures just allow for betting much smaller amounts of $$ over a betting season with a higher return. That is all...

SGA, Anunoby and Ullmark odds have all moved in my favor,,,,SGA has wrapped this one up already barring injury.
Cavs have cooled off, Raptors recently had covid spread throughout its locker room but didn't make it publicly known, and now Jokic & Murray both have it.
On a side note, I find it ridiculous that Westbrick is now the favorite to win 6th man of the year...the Lakers coach should've gotten roasted in the media when he came out and said the goal for this season is now to get Russ the 6th man award...and the media soaked it up, promoted it, and now the real candidates who have worked themselves into this spot like Poole and Wood have been cokbloked by the four letter network...shameful.

Ullmark now in the lead @ +200
SGA running away with most improved
Denver
Cleveland
Toronto
If Toronto makes the playoffs, this portfolio should be very profitable.

@packersbackers
I really really like those plays........ the last year i have strongly learned I think nba is 110% an ingame betting system.... any team can lay flat regardless if spread is a pk of -18.... there is always tomorrow in regular season...... I like to play future parlays ( so much value)
I did want to ask you , what is 1 unit to you? the nuggets wager to make playoffs , what was the risk and win?

Ionescu to win WNBA regular season MVP +800,,,5u
This is correlated with my prediction of NY winning the title, but at only +150 odds that's not worth tying up several units in my opinion until the end of the season.

Bo Nix Heisman winner +2000...2u
If he put up 400+ yds and 4+ tds today vs Colorado, these odds should be cut in half.
Jaxson Dart Heisman winner +15000...1u.
If he wins in Alabama, these odds will be closer to +5000, and then can get himself into the conversation by November if Ole Miss is in the top 8.

Tyrese Haliburton to win Most Improved @ +6500...2u @ Toronto's Elements Casino Sportsbook
These odds don't reflect how well Indiana is playing, and I don't see them slowing down their pace of play anytime soon. This is a very sneaky good young team that should exceed all public expectations and perception of them simply because they play in a relatively irrelevant market.

If you don't track your own performance, who gives a shit what you have to say.
Futures betting is a different animal,. At least it should be . Your bet is something that predicts longer into the future , so your betting angle should be commensurate.
But you have added nothing.
Feel free to add some commentary to your emptiness.
