You need to let the bank fail...They got greedy...None off this bail out to bail out the rich...AGAIN.....Fak all the VC's and start ups...If those businesses half to layoff and go under it is what it is tough luck...... They took risks..just like all people that lost money in crypto and left their on money on exchanges thinking it was safe.........All these exchanges allowed to go under and rip off and lot of ordinary's joes who lost a lot of money.......They paid taxes on crypto capital gains...Gov't didn't do shiit to help them out or bail them out.....Banks got bailed out in 2008..it would be a travesty if they got bailed out again....Let SVB sink...if it brings down other banks..So be it...

I studied this pick and I agree with you! But its going to take down a lot other business as well. I think BOA is next. Probably won't be any buy outs. But buy ins.

It will take down a lot for the 1% and Wall Street for sure....Here we go again..2 big to fail part 2..American tax payers bailing out Wall St again. They are going to make a killing again....You know all banks are intertwined with each other...One company may have a loan with a big bank and cannot pay that loan because its cash is with SVB...so they default on their loan and its a snow ball effect...All these banks will come out and say we have too much risk and bad debt on our books and not enough reserves.....Gov't steps in at some point after a little pain and they made a specific bank an example of...a big bank ala Lehman Brothers 2007........I am prepared this time...I was a young pup in 2008/2009....I have my cash on hand to buy up all these cheap stocks for when the Gov't bails out these companies or when the Fed pivot's on their rate policy sometime this year....I remember when BOA was like $2 in 2008... Practically any stock u bought after the huge dump skyrocketed...It's all a game for the Rich.....Wall St Never loses especially the big banks..

SHANGHAI/HONG KONG, March 13 (Reuters) - Stunned by the sudden collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, the main go-to foreign bank for the majority of Chinese start-ups, entrepreneurs and venture funds are scrambling for alternatives despite U.S. regulators averting a banking crisis by guaranteeing all deposits of the troubled bank.
Chinese start-ups and fund managers said they are still looking to move their money out of SVB once they can.

US banks hold about 620 Billion in unrealized losses if they were forced to sell their Bonds/Treasures that they invested in over the last couple of years right now...If there was a massive bank run.the whole banking industry would collapse...Banks are not required to post these losses until the they sell the bonds/treasuries or they mature...So what they post for earning's does not show the current value of their investments, which would cripple most banks...
SVB was forced to sell their bonds/treasuries at a steep discount because of the bank run. So all these banks have bad investments on their books because of high rising interest rates making their investments worth much less. The govt comes in and says we will provide a backstop and you can borrow against the full face value of these bonds/treasuries and not what its actual value is right now, which is significantly less.
So once again, US banks over leverage themselves and invested customer funds to make more money off earned interest and and the Gov't bails them out..
