Basically, I am looking for a scouting service similiar to Top Step Trader (topsteptrader.com). Top Step puts you through a "scouting combine" and then matches you with an equity backer if you hit all of the required profit targets for the given time parameters.
Does anyone know of an operation like that?
I have heard from some traders that Top Step is a legitamate way to gain equity backing.
The big problem is that the stake is only 50,000$ initially, with a 60-40 split....and the equity backers set the daily risk levels (I believe it is a 500$ per day drawdown max).
If a guy could land backing from 2 or 3 services like top step then it would be possible to trade properly, instead of being an ultra tight commissions mule......at least from the standpoint of trading someone else's money and not taking significant drawdowns.
No doubt the best way to trade is with your own disposable income, but that is just not possible in my case for now.
