I am still buying it up. Got a good letter from the FDA today on their optinose product. More mechanical issues than testing. That is good ! Off market branding via agitation is happening...
Has moved from 40 % - to almost 90% institutional holdings on the stock. That means the big boys are buying it up...

I cannot believe after all this time that Avinir is finally moving. When I was a broker over 10 yrs ago I had a big client who owned this one when it was less than 5 a share..
Good luck..

Hey Wallstreet, I am new to investing and would love to maybe get your email or something and just talk to you and get a better insight and understanding of investing. You seem like someone who is very knowledgable and someone that could help me out. I am not looking for you tell me what to put my money in, even though that would be nice, but I am looking for some guidance. Thanks

I think this buyout price is terrible..it cuts the potential long term gain for the shareholder.
Pissed me off too... And no wonder the offering a while ago. It allowed AVNR to maintain the 51% of voting shares to move it. No recourse, other than Baker Bros. maybe making a call.... I am sure they r happy enough buying 18M shares at 4.50 and selling for 17.00.
That is the kind of money the rich are stealing each day... I tried to short a couple I knew were going down and Etrade wouldn't front e the shares saying they couldn't borrow them on a 2M share traded day. Everything is so coorupt anymore and if you r not part of the click, of big money, your out...
I keep doing my thing, but hate that crap... I can only imagine it gets worse, way worse as the KOCH brothers can now buy any political race they want with the new laws...
For sure, going to be all republican, all the time soon. There are many good ones, don't get me wrong. But even the GOOD ones, will now be controlled by the ones tied to the money. It is going to come down to 25 - 50 people making all the choices in this country. 10 of them will be from all the big banks and investment firms...
I also look for those companies to work there way BACK to private with time as they wont want to share ANY money with investors...
