Am tempted to just go all in with amazon, thoughts?

100k... feeling like I lost a bunch past two weeks and I think this is a pretty good bet... 50 plus from the high, holidays coming...thoughts?

Put 10K in Amazon and the other 90K in 9 different holdings.

50 points is 4.x % off it's all time high. What is your time frame, expectations and exit strategy?

I agree with Gambler..split it up to lower your risk a little....If it was about 2-3 wks ago i'd have said EITHER FDX/UPS with the Xmas push for pkg delivery/ also the cheap oil...i think they both still go up jst not sure how much at this point cuz they both have run up since then....I've read BOTH companies looking at record volumes...so by mid Jan. '18 both FDX/UPS should be higher from here....BOL hope it works for u...

100K in Amazon as a long term investment is fine, but the whole market has taken off as you well know. Retail in particular has been on fire this past month, along with Amazon as well.

There's a shifting of assets to stocks that would benefit from tax reform. Too lazy to look it up, but correct me if I'm wrong, Amazon is barely profitable, or uses a lot of it's money to reinvest in the company (to continue taking over the world), so they wouldn't benefit that much from tax reform.

Amazon's value is the fact that they are prepping to take over the world.

TLDR. Amazon is a good long term investment, but it's a crapshoot in the shorter term as stocks are overbought.
