Your bookie is avoiding you expecting to give it all back before he floats it your way.. Any advice for dealing with a lagging book? Was thinking of shooting him a text letting him know I'll be taking a break until he can get caught up. Not too much but I can use the 4Gs.

I know that a lot of people do not like offshore books but I would recommend opening up an account with Heritage or Bookmaker. I have had zero issue with getting money from either one and I have been with Heritage ever since Bet Jamaica closed shop and I have been with Bookmaker ever since Pinnacle stopped taking US customers

in the old days a book maker only needed three things - the ability to pay and the ability to collect. I forget the 3rd, doesn't matter.
I am guessing your guy is the agent, cash poor, not the real bookie and his package is breaking even - those that are losing might not be paying and therefore cannot pay you.
Also when you call the office perhaps mention to one of the clerks that "payment is slow" and "are you guys doing OK? Did you pay 'Joe' the agent what I won the past few weeks? I have not seen it yet". Make this call when they are doing figures on Monday - this is when the real bookie is most likely reachable by the clerks.
If this info reaches the real bookie he might straighten it out with the agent - any bookie worth his salt knows the real bread and butter, NFL is 3 weeks away and having as many active players as possible is the key to success on 10/11 odds.
If the guy you are dealing directly with is the bookie be afraid, be very afraid.

This is very sound advice/feedback. Couldn't have said it better.

The guy has made two payments and is half way to paying the entire balance. Although driving to his house at inconvenient hours. I'll take it and move on.
But most off all I won't be losing to this guy anytime soon.
