Long time reader around these boards, so thanks to everyone who contributes. Fortunately, I've never felt the need to post any negative sentiments in regards to an experience I've encountered with a book because I have been happy playing at Heritage, Bookmaker and 5Dimes for the last 10+ years. For the sake of being accurate, I've played exclusively at Heritage for the last 4 or 5 of those years.
Although, today I've finally reached my breaking point with Heritage and would like to share my experience here as a cautionary tale, because over the last few days I've experienced the worst level of customer service in all my years of playing online...and I cannot let it go unnoticed.
Before I get into my story, I'd like to state that I am just now getting into Bitcoins, as it seems this is going to the most viable and easy way to deposit/withdrawal going forward. I'm just stubborn and don't like the fluctuations and the fact it is a cryptocurrency which is why I've held out til now. With that being said, I have been limited to check withdrawals for the last year or two because anyone who plays at Heritage knows the ** limit was cut to 300 a while ago (+40 in fees), and that's not feasible for most. I'm a lower level recreational player that will only deposit a couple hundred a month unless i'm carrying a balance and I will typically cash out around 1K at a time.
Now that you have some background info...let me get into all the issues I've encountered with Heritage while trying to procure a measly $750 check withdrawal. The check was requested on January 4th, and I've still yet to collect. This is now business day 18. This is due to Heritage sports providing their processor with the wrong address. How can this happen you ask? I have been wondering the same thing. It's even more pathetic because I uploaded new utility bills to update my address ON THE SAME DAY as the withdrawal request. I will also mention that my updated address was fairly similar to the old one on file because I moved 4 months ago, but within the same condominium complex. Therefore, the change in address would be akin to something like this...1250 Main Street Unit #306 updated to 1200 Main Street #109. Even though it still would be unacceptable because I double-verified the address with them when making the request....I am not an unreasonable person and would have tacked this mistake up to a simple oversight or clerical error on their end.

Hey all,

The problem arises when Heritage takes no ownership of the situation, lies to me, and then rudely insinuates this is my problem. I waited 15 business days (per Heritage's mediocre policy) to even inquire and receive information as to what happened with the check. At this point I am given a tracking number that indicates the package was delivered back on January 17, but to the wrong address of course. I am basically told by Heritage "Sir...you need to take it up with FedEx...we have shipped the package in the proper time frame, and it was signed for." Keep in mind this is what I am told after it has been established that Heritage has sent the wrong shipping info....Then I begrudgingly call FedEx and am told the package is now in the lost and found center in Memphis, TN. It was signed for (indicating the driver attempted to make delivery) but at some point thereafter the woman who accepted it called FedEx to have it picked up realizing it was not addressed to her. Obviously this was a complete waste of my time and not something I should've been doing. At this point I am explaining the chain of events to the manager "Gabe" or Gabriel who is less than accommodating, rude, and offers no solutions except an extended time frame for me to inquire back with them. He also said I will no longer be able to use the check option because "it seems to cause you difficulty." It's apparently my prerogative to have to stay on top of them as well, because I was told I would need to contact customer service and that someone wouldn't be able to reach out to me once they've figured out a resolution.
I'm obviously pretty livid at this point due to how I'm being treated and how Heritage is minimizing the issue and deflecting blame onto their processor, or even the customer. I log into my account today to find the funds were dumped back into my account, and I was not called, but rather emailed asking how i'd like to withdrawal the funds again. I was not once offered an apology or any sort of compensation, and I had to spend about 20 minutes with customer service on business day 15 just to get the $50 check fee reimbursed. The end resolution is that I requested they cash out my entire balance through ** because I was sick of the waiting and excuses, which they agreed. I also mentioned that I would like my account closed once these payouts come through...and within minutes of me finishing the discussion my account ID is no longer valid, and they have even blocked me from using the live chat feature. I guess they will be emailing me my ** details, and not sending them in a message through the website like they typically do. A little petty on Heritage's behalf don't you think?

As mentioned above, I wanted to put this out there as a cautionary tale about the level of customer service you may receive from Heritage Sports. In my opinion, this book has been in steady decline the last couple years and not nearly as good as they once were. I've been nothing but a loyal player there for years, and this easily fixable incident led to them losing a customer because they treated me like complete garbage, and also were content to lie to me and have me do the leg work to uncover what happened to be their mistake.
I feel like I've written enough here...but would be happy to elaborate more or provide the series of chat logs from the last couple days that show Heritage tripping over their own two feet and being caught in their own lies and misinformation should anyone be interested. Needless to say, I'm more than happy to return to a bigger fish in 5Dimes where they at least conduct themselves with some professionalism.
One other thing I forgot to mention for newer players, or people that have never used the check option.....Out of all the times I've used this method (and I've lived on both coasts over last 10 years) I've never had one come sooner than the 12th business day. Oh, and don't forget this gem...the day you request your withdrawl doesn't count as an actual business day in their 10-15 timeframe. This is extremely slow as I've gotten checks from Bookmaker or 5Dimes in the past that have been received in half that time on a regular basis.

I do a lot of my bets in-game and would prefer 5dimes since they offer more games. I have been with Heritage now for about 6 months and I haven't had a problem with them but I do use BitCoin. I would def stay away from 5dimes since myself and a few of my friends have had fraudulent charges recently. I cannot say I am 100% that they were from 5dimes but I can confidently say 99%! Ha ha! I think it would be wise for you to start using BitCoin.
Good luck!
