10 team, Standard Format, Head to Head Points. Auction.
QB Brady, Locker RB McCoy, Murray, Blunt, Dwyer WR Desean Jackson, Demaryius Thomas, Boldin, Britt, Amendola TE Gates, Rudolph Flex Steven Ridley Jets D/ST K Garret Hartley
To be honest, I am really disliking my team at the moment. Especially at the WR position. Not very deep at the RB position either. Who should I trade away? Also, who should I go after? Tips appreciated, this is my 1st fantasy football prize team. So I'm kind of a newbie at this.

How the heck did you get McCoy and Brady??? I love Amendola this season!! If it's PPR league you're $$ on him!! Rams going to be much improved with Fisher.....Bradford shows his true colors this season!!!

Auction draft not a snake.
It looks like you did well on the high end and low end guys. I'm not huge on your middle with the exception of Gates. I'm not a huge Ridley fan though.
Are there any cap implications for making trades? I would look to deal Ridley and maybe Jackson if possible. I think Jackson is a big name that could be dealt(especially to whoever has Vick) whose production could be made up with a lesser name receiver.

Who should I go after? I really like Ridley, don't know if I wanna get rid of him. If I do, I'm really clueless to who to replace him with at Flex. I picked up Jackson with the thought of maybe trading him because like you said, big name that could be dealt. Which WRs should I go after?

If you really like Ridley then stick to your guns. Ultimately it's your team and you should do what you think is best. I'm just not a huge fan of teams that put out a huge committee at the RB spot. Therefore I'm not a fan of Ridley, just like I'm not a fan of any Lions RB's or Redskins RB's. I would honestly start a guy like Michael Bush or Peyton Hillis over Ridley. You know that guys are going to be TD vulchers.
I would like to see you deal Jackson for someone like Percy Harvin. He was targeted a ton when Ponder took over as QB. Plus he gets involved in reverses and part of the return game. I think he is someone that has a lot more value than is really given to him.
BOL in whatever you decide.

I'd give your team a B+. Brady / McCoy is borderline achievable in a 10 GM league so well done on that! I wouldn't touch Murray but can't complain about the pick. Not a fan of your WRs but you can't have the best of everything. You'd have to hope that Desean replicates the talent we all know he's capable of, and Thomas they say is due for a good year!

kiwipride..."wouldnt touch Murray"....dont take advice from this clown. In a year where rbs are very thin and half of the are either comoing back from torn ACLs or are holding out or are facing suspension or are unproven rookies (show me a rookie rb who put up numbers last 3 years) or are part of a commitee... do I need to go on and this bozo says he wouldnt touch Murray. One of the very few every down backs in the league, on a team where the deffense cant stack the line cause they have to respect Romo, Bryant, Austin, Witten...and this joke says he wouldnt touch him...

I also think that Murray will be a fantasy stud this year. Talk on the sports radio around Dallas is that they are really sour on F. Jones and that it looks like Murray is going to get the bulk of the touches. In this day and age in NFL football, if you get a good back who is going to get the bulk of the touches than you are in good shape (at least in fantasy terms). Also as mediocre as the Cowboys have been for over a decade the fact is that they do score points.

Hey Rvivio, my saying don't touch Murray was a personal decision of mine (over other certain players, which for the record I don't know what was available in his league). I was just giving an honest opinion. What credibility do you have to base your judgment.
For the record Rvivio, let's take for example my Yahoo Fantasy Performance profile, which I believe says a bit about a GMs skill. I'd consider I'd have one of the highest performance rating % that I know of, not just in NFL but the 4 American sports, so I consider an opinion worthwhile!
Next time you criticise someone, at least post something about your experience or credibility!

And also, just thought that I'd throw in another piece of supporting information as shown in my profile, 2 seasons on Yahoo Pick Em, coming into week 15, I was ranked sole no.2 out of hundreds and thousands of participants and ended up finish in the top 30.
So unless you back your shit up when criticising fellow cover members, either post your opinion or shut da fuk up!

Specifically, this is why I said "I would not touch Murray - but can't complain about the pick". Why I won't touch Murray is because there could be other RBs I'd take over him, but when you take all these factors into consideration, then perhaps one can't complain about the pick:-
I'm from New Zealand so our NFL news coverage is about nil.
- Dallas's O-Line has been underperforming from what I've read.
- Touches - He wants the ball more but Dallas don't the want to overwork him. Yes, he'll probably get 220+ touches a game - I hope, but would be nice if he got more which he should (yes I understand in todays age, there are a lot of injury ridden RBs and also committees). But I question how much Felix will eat into his time, because he will get touches during the game.
- Factual info. The last 4 seasons an individual from Dallas' RB core didn't produce more than 7TD (Barber got 7 in 2008 me thinks) - last 2 seasons rushing TDs for RBs were a disaster for Dallas. You'd expect more from a first round calibre RB!
- The fact that Murray is still inexperienced, half a season under his belt...
- Your suggestion that Dallas' aerial weapons works both ways - either they open the ground game or they steal his TDs...
- I'm not saying that Murray isn't a good player or that he shouldn't be drafted early. But there are factors to weigh in, because we saw what he can do with those 3 100 rushing games he had last season!
