16 team, standard scoring except 6 per TD pass, no flex spot.
Here is the scenario: I'm 3-0 and killing it weekly. My current line up is
Brees
Spiller
Bush
Welker
Colston
Greg Olson
Hanson
Buffalo D
Bench
Donald Brown
Doug Martin
Ryan Williams
David Wilson
Denarious Moore
Gabbert
A guy in my league(and division) is 0-3 and offered Arian Foster, DeSean Jackson, and Santonio Holmes for Welker, Bush, and Spiller.
Obviously he is trying to change his momentum and deal Holmes on a high note since he had a good game today and capitalize on Spiller's injury.
I have read that Spiller is only going to be out for a few weeks at most and obviously with my depth at RB I am not hurting for one.
Spiller has actually been the best RB in our format over the last 5-6 regular season games dating back to last season, even better than Foster.
However, I know what I am getting with Foster and he has a much longer track record. I have no issue with dealing Bush or Welker since I think their production will only decrease when Forte and Hernandez return.
To me it's a matter of dealing Spiller's potential upon return for Foster's track record. Also, if I accept it, do I make a play for Ben Tate for the handcuff as well?
Any and all advice is appreciated and sorry I wrote a book detailing this deal.

Can you email this guy? I love Foster, not big on Djax or Holmes. I would want to ride Welker until Herz comes back. I would do Foster for Spiller & Bush.
FJax is back potentially this week and for sure will split carries as I can't see Buf giving the ball to Spiller only. Bush is decent, but is Forte's backup. I would do it, but would want to scale it back a bit and not lose Welker.

He won't deal without Welker. We've been sending proposals back and forth and this is the one we basically agree on without it becoming lopsided one way or another.
I agree with you about keeping Welker, especially til Hernandez comes back. I'm going to pull the trigger though.
I think I may package Jackson/Holmes and either Martin or Brown and try and upgrade at WR. I also sent an offer to Percy Harvin's owner for Donald Brown. I don't know if he will bite on it but he does need RB help.
In a 16 team league, productive RB's are hard to come by and every RB worth a damn has their value skyrocket.

Congrats. It's a decent trade and you win for sure if Jax or Holmes stay consistent. I agree, try and snag Harvin. You are deep at RB and with Beanie getting hurt, Williams value increases, so you may want to try and pawn him off.
Congrats on getting Foster, try and handcuff him with Tate for cheap.

My league vetoed the trade. I'm going to try and get another thread going about this because it has been an on going issue for me this year.
