I go Mcfadden... If Mcfadden can stay healthy I think he will have a monster year... bad thing that is a big IF... I still think I go with him here then CJ.
I am not a fan of drafting qb's early, you can find very good qb's in 3rd or 4th round, the quality of rb drop big time so that is one other reason I would go RB here

that's my struggle, as McFadden hasn't been able to last a season. When he is healthy, he is a beast, but he missed 60% of the season last year and three years ago.
Not sure I can gamble with such an early pick.
Appreciate your input though

I hear ya about the gamble... The bad thing is their back up situation, last yr you could handcuff with M Bush and even if mcfadden went down u were all set. This yr Jones is not a guarentee #2 rb there, so who do you handcuff with?
I am in a similar boat as you, I have the 7th pick and think I will have a shot at both these guys and few other options... Torn on what to do also.
GL on who ever you pick

This is almost identical to my situation except my league is 14 and I knew it would be QB heavy early. I took Brady for the simple reason that the high single scorer each week gets $25 and he always has a chance. I got Fitz all the way back at 22 so pretty happy.(I have it posted if u wanna see)
Anyway I think you have gone thru the safe elite picks in front of you and those were my top6 so I truly didnt care who fell to me. I would draft accordingly from there. I feel like CJ2K is the next best in a ppr.

Agreed, go with Brady here. Take the most consistent player you can get at that spot. You can still get a guy like Michael Turner, Adrian Peterson, possibly Maurice Jones-Drew or DeMarco Murray as your #1 in the 1st round. Not ideal, but I'd rather roll the dice on a guy in the 2nd round than in the 1st.

yeah that changes everything. not sure i can go QB there then. probably have to roll the dice on CJ2K. DMac has higher upside, I guess, but no injury worries with CJ.

Assuming these 5 go (foster, rice, mccoy, rodgers, megatron), who would you take at #6?
In a draft tomorrow and I'm struggling with who I would take if the above 5 are gone.
McFadden/CJ2 - can't trust them Brees or Brady - look like the right choice Fitz - bad qb scares me.
Thinking Brady and coming back with maybe sproles/murray/wallace/jennings/white in round 2 and charles/bowe/bryant/marshall in round 3.
Thoughts? Really stuck at #6.
I've actually seen a few drafts where Megatron is dropping to that point. If all 3 QBs go early, you could even wind up with one of the top 3 RBs but doubtful. I'd probably go Chris Johnson though if all those guys are gone; I think he bounces back this year but you can't go wrong with Brady or Brees.
I took Sproles in my PPR league with 2nd to last pick in the 2nd.
Personally, I don't like Jennings or Wallace. I'd rather have Jordy Nelson and Antonio Brown and they're going several rounds later than those two.
Another guy I do like (especially in PPR) is Percy Harvin. I grabbed him at the end of the 4th. He was a top 5 WR in my PPR league last year.

Swirv - in a ppr you could certainly reach a bit for Sproles (and what about pts for return yds? if this league has them he's easily a top 10 player at seasons end), maybe not the 2nd, but definitely the 3rd round.

I love Percy Harvin. I'm taking him in the 4th round as well (fingers crossed).
