I feel that Sproles may be a slightly safer play because Minn-NO is projected to be high scoring and it would be unusual for Brees to not hit Sproles on a handful of short passes. The Vikings are bad against the pass -- I'm not sure if that directly applies to short passes out of the backfield but I am thinking it does. Sproles could absolutely victimize that defense.
I am thinking Bradshaw may have more upside. I would be surprised if the Giants offense is not clicking tomorrow and from all indications Bradshaw's injury is not holding him back too much. He has had more huge fantasy days in his career than Sproles and I think he has a better chance of getting in the endzone than Sproles tomorrow. But on the other hand, there is risk. I'm not a doctor but I'm thinking there is a chance he aggravates the foot injury. I would bet he makes it through the game fine but it's something to consider. Sproles is 100% healthy as usual. The Redskins will not lay down in this division game -- Bradshaw will have to earn every yard.
I can' t make up my mind on this.
