Never posted in here before, but I'm looking for a fresh perspective. Got a real jam at RB/Flex position this week. Basically need to fill 2 spots with the following: Shane Vereen, Bobby Rainey, or Alfred Morris.
Scoring system is the key here: PPR, with a bonus 5 pts at 100yds.
I know, I know. How is Alfred Morris NOT automatic? Because he is the ONLY one I know is NOT going to catch the ball, and is the only one whose team and coaching staff are retarded enough to completely abandon him in the 2h regardless of how well he is playing. All those 93 yd rushing days have murdered me.
I am 90% I am going with Vereen. Loved his upside since the preseason, saw everything I needed to last Monday and in Game 1.
So basically, it's Bobby Rainey against what everyone is calling a stout d-line in Detroit. I've looked at the stats, and yes the #s are correct, but aside from limiting Matt Forte, I'm not that impressed. Leveon Bell can't run on anyone, the Cowboys had a backup committe going against them, etc.Sure, they are light years ahead of Atlanta, but I think TB's o-line is legit. Not to mention that the Bucs just don't have many other offensive options. They should at least get the ball moving through the air, which may lead to some goal-line touches. And CATCHES. He already has more than Morris has on the year.
Am I delusional? Is it really CHASING stats?
ALF might be the safe, conservative option. But I need to swing for the fences for a win.
Thoughts?

I got bitten by Rainey this week but lucky enough to weather the storm and clinch playoff spot.
SHane Vareen is the real deal, if you are in a PPR league and you have held on or scooped him at some point, he is paying dividends right off the top. A must start.
