about half a month ago it was  projected that boise state would be one of them to claim a bye in the playoffs and now it's starting to look like that way

Notre Dame is not. They have not won or played in a conference championship. If they reward Notre Dame with a bye, then we are headed back to the stone-age and there will be no benefit to playing in a conference. You can just freelance your schedule.

In my opinion, and not saying I'm right, but I don't feel Notre Dame is one of the best 4 teams in the country.

I agree. Boise st looked good early in the season but has fallen off the past couple weeks. Barely getting by subpar talent. I don't believe they deserve a bye either. Even if they blow out UNLV. I think there is a chance they lose that game actually.
