2 - 1 and made money.....should be 3 - 0 and up 5 UNITS but Sark and co coughed up a defensive furball to a QB who has never played in a game before for a whole half
Texas lost the game to basically the equivalent of a redshirted freshmen QB coming in to try and win an SEC Championship for half a game and down by 3
JOKE!
Proving is hard. Talk is easy.

Good to see the committee did ok with the TOP 12 but I will state a case for Alabama too..... and this is where there should be some precedence established.
I have experience with provincial (Ontario is like the 4th or 5th biggest state if it were American)championships..... if you won from 300+ schools the provincial title or finished in the top 8, your school pts carry over for 2 years in determining your ranking for the next two years when seeding is considered.
If the committee did that here, Alabama would be in the Playoff and SMU would be out or Indiana for that matter ....but Indiana has maintained a sparkling record like SMU all year and in the toughest conference. I get why SMU is there because there is a feeling its a stronger conference than BIG12?? ....so therefore 2 considerations that are strong (winner and 2nd best in that conference)
Clemson earned their spot, as did Boise and Arizona St.
Penn St. figures but not sure they should be higher than Ohio St despite Buckeyes having 2 losses like them. I see the precedence there for Penn St getting to BIG 12 final game and not getting blown out.
All in all....a decent job by the committee? I think its ok
