Jaguars 25, Giants 24: Josh Scobee booted a 43-yard field goal with 28 seconds left in the fourth quarter as Jacksonville recovered from a 21-point deficit to stun visiting New York.
The Jaguars forced three second-half fumbles, returning two for touchdowns, and rookie Blake Bortles went 21-of-35 for 194 yards and one touchdown. Aaron Colvin and J.T Thomas III each scored off fumbles for Jacksonville (2-10) in the largest comeback in franchise history.
Eli Manning went 24-of-34 for 247 yards and a touchdown but had two fumbles, including one with 20 seconds left to seal the seventh straight loss for the Giants (3-9). Josh Brown gave New York a 24-22 lead with a 33-yard field goal with 3:26 remaining in the fourth but had his first miss of the season earlier in the game.
The Giants ate up nearly 10 minutes on a 19-play, 91-yard drive capped by Rashad Jenningsกฏ 2-yard TD run on the first play of the second quarter. Manning found Preston Parker for a 3-yard TD on New Yorkกฏs next drive and Jennings broke free for a 17-yard score with 6:30 left in the half to make it 21-0 before a 28-yard kick by Scobee got the Jaguars on the board in front of the break.
Manning fumbled deep in his own territory and Thomas made the recovery and scored to cut the deficit before Bortles hit Marqise Lee with a 30-yard TD, but a missed two-point conversion left it at 21-16. New York tight end Larry Donnell fumbled on the next drive and Colvin recovered and scored from 41 yards out to give Jacksonville its first lead at 22-21 after another two-point attempt failed.
