running QBs seem to have limited success in the postseason.   IIRC the only running QB who has won a SB is Russell Wilson, and he was on a team with a great defense that played a big part in their success.   I think Wilson averaged 33 rush yds/game that season, the only QB to win a SB with 30+ yds/game.    Most of the other SB winning QBs averaged 0-25 yards per game rushing.

Good to see you again, Biscuit. True, it's sort of a rare list for a running QB winning one or more Super Bowl. Russell Wilson and Steve Young have to come to my mind as the running QBs ever won a Super Bowl, perhaps we can count Patrick Mahomes as well.

I am wondering at this point, if Jalen Hurts could win one this season. Teamed with a very good defense, Hurts is surely looking promising by going forward in January and perhaps onto February as well. Experience wise in the big dance, Hurts has been there two years ago, although Eagles lost to the Chiefs by a field goal, 35-38.

yeah Steve Young only rushed for 18 yds/game when he won the SB.   Mahomes has been in the high teens + low 20s.    I think Rodgers and BenR may have been in the low 20s.    I lost a bunch of data, I¡¯m going from memory of the research I did.   Anyway these guys like Hurts Allen Jackson all run more than previous SB winning QBs.   Not to say that they can¡¯t win, but if they do it¡¯d be the exception to the rule.

I do remember when Young signed a 10 year $40 million contract with the LA Express of the USFL.   that was record breaking at the time, back in the mid 80s.    Now, some guys are making more than that each season.   

NFL just becomes a multi-billions conglomerate, those USFL or XFL did not last very long before called it a quit. Nowadays, we can see plenty of hundred of million dollar contracts in this league.

After routing Steelers earlier today, Chiefs have clinched the AFC #1 seed in the playoffs. Assuming Chiefs should pass the Divisional round, any AFC team, including the Buffalo Bills, will have to go through Kansas City on route to this Super Bowl.

It appears extremely hard to beat Chiefs at home in the playoffs. Since 2019, Patrick Mahomes is 12-2 at home in the playoffs.

LJ is running less this year, and becoming more efficient with his passing.  This is what makes him more dangerous now..... and with a legit Running Back.

I actually think it is a good bet given the odds. No teams ever won three SBs in a row, I know people don't trust Jackson but Henry makes a huge difference and people seems to forget Eagles were there not long ago. 

Since 2018 the home team in the conference finals are a mere 7-5 SU.
