In my working days our company was acquired by another that were known for being real cut-throat pricks in the industry & they immediately cut costs by laying people off. I got wind of this & called my team together to warn them about what was going to happen.

An older Jamaican lady shared this comment with me. She said "Don't worry boss. The new broom sweeps clean but the old one knows the corners."
