You are absolutely right. SMU hasn't beaten anybody. Clemson has beaten.....

Is this a joke? This is the biggest game of the season so far for both teams.
Believe it or not, winning an SEC championship is kind of a big deal. So is getting a bye week in a 12 team playoff. Playing for either of these things makes it a big game and they're playing for both. The idea that they would rest players or not play hard just to be "rewarded" by having to play an extra playoff game is just ridiculous.

Ok, thanks most of you for being patient and educational, haven't watched college much this year but I did feel in the past these games were mostly about money and even further back remember these bowl official greedy aholes just concerned about their pockets, scared of the playoffs we're about to finally witness...
Now some observations about the Teams:
Texas showed what they usually show under any coach, sloppiness, mistakes, too many penalties and got what they deserved..that program can't seem to take the right approach ever to win it all
Oregon shows again the Penn State and Franklin still don't have enough talent to go far
SMu-heard all this bitchin about how they should get in if they lose? Well looking this bad against Clemson shows the top SEC teams are worth stacking in the draw, so take your ACC crap and go home...South Carolina, Ole Miss and Alabama are all better
