Online gaming operator Hard Rock Bet has announced Duffy’s Sports Grill as its official game day partner. The partnership will provide new betting opportunities across Duffy’s 30 land-based locations in Florida.
“We are so proud to partner with Florida’s only legal sportsbook, Hard Rock Bet, and offer our MVPs special promotions when they dine with us. It truly is the perfect sports matchup between Florida’s largest family-owned restaurant chain and the most exciting sportsbook in the nation,” Joe Webb, chief executive officer of Duffy’s Sports Grill, said in a release.
The original Duffy’s location was opened by two friends in Lake Park, Florida, in 1985. The initial ownership team expanded the chain to four locations before it was purchased in 2001 by Paul Emmet. Emmet rebranded the restaurants and bars as Duffy’s Sports Grill, which have spread across Florida.
What rewards can bettors expect?
Hard Rock Bet and Duffy’s Sports Grill are exploring several marketing opportunities through the partnership. The companies are focusing on the potential for exclusive promotions for attending in-person events organized by Hard Rock. Rewards may include Hard Rock Bet promotions on the mobile app, the only online sports betting platform available in Florida.

Hard Rock Bet Continues Strong 2024
This is not the first local partnership that Hard Rock Bet has agreed to win over fans in the Sunshine State. The online sportsbook operator also agreed to a deal with the NHL’s Florida Panthers.
The platform was catapulted into national attention when the U.S. Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit against the Seminole Tribe’s exclusive right to operate sports betting in Florida. The Seminole Tribe operates Hard Rock Bet. With that obstacle out of the way, Hard Rock Bet launched as the only online sports betting platform in Florida.
The Hard Rock Bet online sports betting platform saw several upgrades during 2024, including the SGP Max feature, which may benefit Duffy’s Sports Grill players. Additionally, the sportsbook boosted its football betting offering by reintroducing the Flex Parlay feature ahead of the 2024 season.
While Florida is the Seminole Tribe’s home state, it is not the only place Hard Rock Bet is available. The online sportsbook is licensed to operate in eight U.S. states, launching in Illinois earlier in 2024.
