Like some others have said this line looks low to me like a sucker bet on the Chiefs. Though plenty of TB era Patriots teams always kept winning in spots that I liked them to lose in so I'll tread carefully. I'm not a big fan of the Steelers or Russ anyway but I think despite KC having the top seed to play for, they might struggle.
Only 2 teams have ever played 3 games in 11 days and won all 3. The Chiefs and Ravens both won their first 2 so will be interesting to see can they do something that has been quite rare.
Worth noting as well that of the teams playing today KC had the earliest bye in week 6, something Chris Jones said he wanted to write to the league about and tell them that it should be later to help them deal with this brutal stretch
And then he takes the game off. Hmmmm... Mahomes ankle looked fine last week tho he did start limping more after a long run. Spags defense had Stroud flummoxed but perhaps the wily veteran won't be especially without their front 4 lynchpin.
I think if the Steelers are gonna win they will need to make some big plays on defense get Mahomes to throw a pick (he has been doing that). And just make it a tough day and have them thinking oh well we can get that 1 seed by beating Denver then, we own them anyway. Nobody wants to travel to dreary Pittsburgh on Christmas if the Steelers can start out strong they might dampen the holiday cheer on the Chiefs enough to avoid a patented Patty comeback.
Considering they haven't scored a point in the 4th quarter in 3 straight games I think if they don't start strong they're screwed.
