I remember years ago trying to set up a fantasy baseball league on yahoo, and I tried to create an account. I tried, casheasy, and it said already taken. So I said, "ok," and tried casheasy 123, and again, yahoo said it was already taken. So I tried casheasyhgs445, and it said, "already taken." That's when I said Bullshit!!!! and waited a few days and eventually, casheasy was ok.
Now, my girlfriend is trying to create an account on another website, and she's tried donasensie, dodosendodosensie, donadona17438, dodasendonadodo, donadumdum, and about 6 other account names, and it always says, username alreadsy taken. BULLSHIT! No way somebody took those goofy names.
Why do certain websites always say, no matter what you type in, that the username already exists, when there's no way in the world it does?
Does anybody else run into this? I laughed when my bitch first told me this, until I remembered my yahoo experience. I looked into it and she is using a new email and everything, so there's no issue of the website making a mistake there. They just say "username already taken" no matter you type in.

LOL good one Wallstreet. Sheila still lives with me by the way. And she's pissed because I won't remarry her. So now she's trying to get onto pof. And she can't get an account no matter what name she tries. I love it.

And hey thanks for the reply, spitfire. But I'm telling ya, there is now these usernames are taken. I mean, she's tried so many variations on the name it's not funny. Well, it kind of is, actually. She's trying to hook up with some chicks on pof, and not able to sign up. I told her, just come out with me to some bars on sat nights and let's rock!!!! But she's not buying it.

I signed up at sportsbook.com 10 years ago or so (when it was easy to get a check from them) and just tried out the name "donkey" to see what they sugggested and they offered deepdonkey as the first choice for my username....i laughed my ass off...and my username is "deepdonkey" there (not that I still do business with them) but it cracked me up everytime I called in my bets. Anything else tonight deepdonkey? It was hard to keep a straight face when the hispanic ladie (no offense, just sounds funny with the accent) would repeat my bets back to me and say my username for me to confirm the wager.

You had the same issue I did, wagerline names superceeded Covers names back 13 years ago on the merger. My Covers name was made after my wagerline one (I joined Covers slightly after wagerline) but when the merge came the wagerline name is what carried over. My other name was extremely similar so I didnt really care that it got mowed under and that this one carried forward.
Your LTB name was Covers and you had casheasy on wagerline, thats how I knew it was you anyway because we knew each other from both sites. But why bump a 13 year old thread when I addressed the topic back then? Your casheasy is here and works fine, the LTB (bubby not baby) was nixed when the merge happened.
