Does anyone know why my paragraphs disappear? It makes no difference which browser I use. I've tried Firefox, Edge, Opera, and Chrome. In each case, when I type a sentence and hit ENTER, like right NOW I "see" a new paragraph on the screen... but then after I hit the SUBMIT button below, and view the text, there are no paragraphs at all. Everything is run together. I've had this problem for at least five years.

This is from copy/pasting? When you paste, how are you doing it? Right clicking and selecting paste? CTRL+v? Make sure you are not selecting paste without formatting. OR, try adding an extra line in between paragraphs after you paste - that might help. Sometimes editors on different sites don't pick up the space formatting from another program.

Some browser extensions (especially ad blockers or privacy-related extensions) can interfere with how text is rendered in forms. Try disabling any extensions temporarily to see if they might be affecting text formatting. You can also try using Incognito/Private mode in your browser to rule out extension interference.

Sorry, I missed your replies until now. Is your Firefox up to date? I'll test this on Firefox. I use Chrome and don't seem to have any issues.
Chrome Test:
Testing line breaks in Chrome. There will be a break after this line.
Edit:
Unlike no line breaks in FF, looks like Chrome adds an extra line... :p
And this is the start of a new line.

Important. I HAVE learned that if I EDIT the post AFTER it's been initially sent, that usually works. (Although I don't see that EDIT box available each and every time.)
After initially submitting the post, I can click that EDIT box and then hit ENTER where I want a new paragraph to start and the resulting paragraph will indeed be seen.
But I know I shouldn't have to do that.
As a test, I'll try it with this post.
This will be a new paragraph.
And this will be yet another new paragraph.

Hey Ed-Collins,
One thing you can try if you haven't is to clear your browsing data and cached images and files within your browser settings. After that has been done completely close your browser and reopen, you will have to re-login to Covers as well.

Okay Flynt, I will give that a try later this afternoon. Thanks.
However, when I recently downloaded a new and different browser (Opera), I should have started fresh with that one... nothing cached, etc. I do recall having to log in, as that new browser didn't know my settings.
I had the same darn result, so I'm not yet convinced this will work.
I'm stepping out the door now so I'll try that later.
