You gotta be kidding... Dabo has taken a bunch of junior college kids and made them winners. 

Having Deshaun Watson or Trevor Lawrence as your QB doesn't fall under the category of Junior College kids.

 Dude. He doesn't believe in the portal. He has done a great job with what he had after T. Lawrence. Deshawn was pre portal. 

DJ Uiagalelei made a good decision leaving, even with Dabo having his back and patience for his progression(even though he still sucks) Dabo is all about relationships with these kids. T. Lawrence stuck around because of his strong relationship with Dabo especially being faith based. You seem to look and short term results in a game or loses this season. Dabo has made this team a winner with sub par athletes. They will have maybe 4 or 5 draft picks where in the pre portal times Clemson has double digit draft picks. The portal and NIL has changed CFB. Most Coaches embraced it, NOT Dabo. He is a true believer in these kids. He is one of the best coaches in college football, just don't have the athletes as in the past.

Clearly you are missing my point. Fully aware of his "non-portal" ways. But Dabo runs his mouth about how good Clemson is. How the ACC deserves several teams in the CFP. Well they were up 17 at the start of the 4th quarter. Lets see if he can hold on.

 I don't see how he can run his mouth about how average this team is. IT has gotten better this season. Being up 17 in any college football game doesn't dictate a sure winner because of coaching. Even if he lost this game, it doesn't take away how good of coach he is... On another note. SMU deserves to be in the CFB, better defensively than MIAMI. Clemson auto claims its ACC spot in the CFP. 

1. Dabo loves hearing Dabo talking. This isn't new. Right after they got stomped by Louisville, still talking about how they should make the playoffs. 

2. Fully aware that 17 point leads are not locks. But great coaches don't blow that in a 4th quarter. That is expected by mediocre coaches.

3. We can agree that SMU does deserve a playoff spot. That means Bama is out.

That special team kickoff coverage by SMU at the end was unacceptable.
