2-5 yesterday
St. Johns -10.5
Tragic magic at Carnesecca today, as the Johnnies pay tribute to Lou. Kansas St hasn't really put things together yet either so I like the Red Storm in a blow out.
Providence -2
Getting Hopkins back is the difference maker for me. They just beat a really good BYU team on their home floor in Hopkins first game back, and he just brings every up to another level when he's on the floor. Rhode Island is undefeated but haven't played anyone that is near the level of the Friars. Friars also have won 3 straight in this series.
Nebraska/Michigan St Under 147
Neither team shoots the ball well from the outside, and points should be at a premium around the rim. 71-65 kinda feel for me.
UMASS Lowell +3
Wrong team is favored for me here. Umass is not a good basketball team and Lowell can really play. Little brother would love nothing more than to walk out of Amherst with a W, and I think they will.
South Florida +10
This is too many points for me to pass up. Loyola has San Francisco next, and that is a big one for them, and their best win thus far is Princeton by 5.
Marquette -6.5
Wiskys first road game of the year, and Marq coming off the loss at Iowa St. Bounce back spot against an in state rival, who is coming off a conference game, and has another one on deck. How much does this game matter to the Badgers?
Iowa/Michigan Under 158.5
Iowa has played 3 top 100 teams and only one of them, did they get to this number and it was by .5. Michigan has no problems playing games in the low 70s and that is where I'm thinking they end up. 78-70 kinda game for me.
Virginia +10
I hate this Cavs team, but will anyone be at SMU to watch it with the football team playing Clemson later on this evening in Charlotte? Too many points vs a good defensive team.
Washington St +9
There isn't a single person in Boise, ID that isn't hungover this morning. The biggest day in school history was yesterday, so I don't know how the Broncs get up for this one.
California -2
Coach Madsen wants to stick it to his alma mater, and Andrej Stojakovic wants to put it on his former team. First meeting as ACC members, gotta make a good impression.
Temple +9.5
Home teams in the Big 5 are always a solid idea, especially against this Nova team and Coach Neptune.
That's it through 3pm tips. I'll have more later I'd imagine. GL everyone
