Trevor Story and Dom Nunez homered, Garrett Hampson had three hits, and the Colorado Rockies beat the San Diego Padres 7-5 in Denver on Wednesday.
C.J. Cron had two hits and three RBIs and Charlie Blackmon and Ryan McMahon had two hits each for the Rockies, who swept the three games from the Padres. Colorado has won seven straight home games against San Diego.
Ben Bowden (2-2) pitched one inning and Daniel Bard picked up his 20th save for the Rockies.
Wil Myers hit two home runs in Jake Arrieta's debut with the Padres. Arrieta (5-12) left in the fourth inning with a mild left hamstring strain.
Colorado jumped ahead early. Connor Joe walked to lead off the bottom of the first and Hampson singled to put runners on the corners. Blackmon grounded into a double play, Arrieta hit Story, and Cron followed with a two-run double and then scored on a single by McMahon to make it 3-0.
San Diego got two back in the second when Austin Nola doubled and Myers homered, and then tied it in the third against starter Chi Chi Gonzalez.
Arrieta led off with a single and moved to second on a groundout. After Fernando Tatis Jr. was hit by a pitch, Manny Machado singled to center to make it 3-3.
The Rockies retook the lead in their half of the inning. Blackmon singled and scored from first on Cron's two-out blooper to center.
Myers responded with a solo homer off Bowden in the fourth, his 15th, to tie it again and Nunez put Colorado back in front with a solo homer, his eighth, in the bottom of the inning.
Arrieta put his hand on his left hamstring after Nunez' home run and then exited the game. He allowed five runs on seven hits in 3 1/3 innings.
Blackmon reached on a one-out double in the fifth and Story followed with a homer down the left-field line, his 16th, to put Colorado ahead by three runs.
San Diego got another run in the sixth when Jake Cronenworth doubled and scored on Trent Grisham's single.
